Maybe it’s just an indicator that, if the United deal were to fall through for whatever reason (beyond his control), he would choose Spurs over Arsenal/Newcastle.

Or, that he’ll give Spurs SOME consideration when he would previously have given none.

I still think we’re his overall preferred choice.
