i don’t know if it’s just me but i feel like adidas is quite easily the best manufacturer in the game as of right now imo and a step ahead of nike these past few years (which didn’t always use to be the case this century)

pretty sure you said this about this season’s kits too lol!

i don’t blame you though, personally i liked united’s kits this season better tbh

only upgrade there is the home shirt imo

the away kit is my favorite out of this bunch but still not all that compared to this season’s blue away kit, one of united’s best shirts in years to me

Honestly I have absolutely no idea what our away kit is supposed to look like from this season, can only remember the home and white kits

I prefer Nike but nobody is as good as whatever creative inspiration football kit designers were up to in 90s

Even the sponsors like arsenal with SEGA, and I even liked liverpools carlsberg, etc

tbf even the Adidas kits from that time period were gorgeous too

that I can understand for obvious reasons

however I do think that these days it’s nothing else but nostalgia, can’t say that the west ham/bournemouth/ipswich/luton kits would have anything eye-catching about them as far as for prem teams examples go from recent memory

don’t think that the umbro kit would have much else to offer other than some sentimental value for many people, would be surprised if it turned out any good

used to prefer Nike for a long time too honestly but can’t even remember the last time I was impressed by a nike club kit, it’s definitely been a while

with adidas it’s been quite a few I feel like they deliver quite consistenly this decade so far

Nike just gets the plain colour of the club and sticks their logo and the club logo on it and call it a day. Lazy, but they look cleaner than most Adidas shirts.

I don’t remember what I said last season, but I remember the season before that saying something like “these don’t feel like the kits we’re gonna win the title in.” Whatever I said last time, I prefer these.

yeah i feel like this exactly used to be the case with nike for all those years back then but idk now it’s meh they all seem just plain boring to me.

the thing is I feel like Nike always used to get away with this because they usually had cool kit templates for the most part, it was them who used to be at least somewhat innovative when it came to the kit shape and template design, not adidas.

nowadays I feel like adidas took that spot even if it’s mostly just renditions of some of their older templates and designs but I don’t think they’re doing a bad job at giving them a fresh new look.

whereas with Nike i feel like they’re just sorta stuck in a cycle so far this decade and everytime they try to experiment at least a bit it ends up being a disaster (e.g. this year’s Liverpool home kit, many of the Chelsea and Spurs kits and more)

yeah don’t take my word for it i don’t know if it was you but i just remember someone saying something along these lines last year it’s almost as if i saw that post before so it just recalled i guess lol.

also when i first saw the leaks i remember hating heavy on that green/white kit from the season you mentioned but actually it ended up looking pretty decent irl

i mean if cunha went for 60 i think they have all the rights to milk at least 60 out of this deal, would be surprised if they’d let him go for less
