Mbuemo had a better season and doesn’t have the attitude/shithousery issues Cunha does.

Cunha right footed and plays on the left

Mbuemo left footed and plays on the right

Both can sort of play upfront in a pinch but neither natural

This, he’s clearly going to play Bruno further back.

Amad RWB for now I guess, I think it’ll work.

I’d focus on other positions. If Dorgu is left back and Hojlund is starting on aug 16, he’s getting himself sacked that day.

Our attack is paper thin with Garnacho, Rashford, Antony, and Holjund potentially leaving. I imagine they’ll go after a keeper once we start clearing out.

Very happy if we get Mbeumo. Another big d*** player. Pulling off signing talisman's from other prem teams is a big signal of intent too.

    fascinating read

  • United taking off a short while after the final whistle against Aston Villa on Sunday is not what several players had in mind for the end to their Premier League campaign, and there have been murmurings of discontent. Those in charge of budgets could point out how the lower league position delivered by the team’s performances has deprived the accounts of about Ā£20m in prize money compared to last season’s eighth-place finish. Players might conversely highlight the Ā£14.1million cost of sacking Ten Hag and Ashworth, and the fact that the tour was arranged in January, long before United’s final placing was decided.

By the time United start next season, they will have travelled nearly 24,500 miles combined on their tours to opposite sides of the globe

Cunha’s a done deal. Good player, fits the system well.

Mbuemo would be big but I imagine we’ll face competition from a few sides too.

No.9 — not convinced on Delap but I think that one is being programmed as a even if he flops, he’s only Ā£30m and you easily recoup a big part of that for a young English striker in the league. I don’t think we have the budget for the two above and still get a guy like Gyokeres.

CM has to be the other big priority. Someone who can get up and down the pitch whilst also being able to pass a football.

After that, I think it’s dependent on sales. GK is pretty much its own entity - if Onana goes that money pays for his replacement.

Another left wingback who actually has some offensive skill would be the cherry on top. Loan out Amass, keep Dorgu as a rotation and get another wingback. I think that’s also a bit dependent on whether we can get Shaw gone (or even whether the manager wants him gone).

I wouldn’t touch CB. Hopefully Heaven and Yoro to play significant roles with De Ligt/Maguire in the middle. Martinez probably gets at least one more season. Mazraoui continues to also play RCB a few times.

So annoying because we’ll just have to loan him again. Really hope Chelsea buy him now with the extra money and happiness they have from the CL

Agree on all of that but I don’t think we can gamble on another season without a prolific goal scorer. Breaking the bank to get either Oshimen or Gyk is a must

Gyok for me. Mbeumo Cunha Osimhen just seems like an ego maniac / diva meltdown waiting to happen.

like there is more to Osimhen when conte wants nothing to do with you and then ends up winning the title with your replacement.

  • Predicting those arcs is easier said than done, but United are making changes to their data department aimed at providing worthwhile evidence to assist. In December, Ratcliffe told United We Stand fanzine that United were ā€œstill in the last century of data a***ysisā€ and that it ā€œdoesn’t really exist hereā€. United certainly trailed other clubs historically, and even once appointments in that area were made, there were issues over appropriateness of the research, but Ratcliffe’s comments were regarded by people at United as harsh when set against the group of four competent a***ysts who remained after Dominic Jordan’s departure as director of data science.

this is the united of old (the actual good ol old days). signing top PL talents from the mid table sides. we patented this recipe, good to see us doing this instead of risking it on some unproven potentials that have flopped for us over and over and over.
