Vini Jr was like this at 20 too tho then he became best winger itw btw

Exactly people are forgetting Ganacho was 3rd highest in goals+assist for under 21 players last year in the hardest league. This is when he was playing his preferred position

It dont matter to me if Garnacho becomes the next Ronaldo. He didnt work and I dont see him getting any better in United. Its better for both parties

Sir Alex would have also had the guile not to needlessly criticise Garnacho immediately after losing a final. Everyone can see it was the wrong decision to bring him on so late, you don't need to necessarily admit that but you also don't need to stoke the flames further. It's just poor man management and intentionally alienates players.

It's also not Amorim being some ruthless manager. You can see in Garnacho's interview that he's pretty miserable and probably wants to leave himself. Acting like Amorim is making some masterful powerplay isn't true. It's the equivalent of me telling my boss I want to quit, and him saying 'yeah well you're fired'.

Garnacho has real innate fundamentals you want in a wide attacker and it’s a big shame he will spend his peak years not at the club he came through as a senior footballer and won a silverware with at both youth and senior level.

Even in this dog s*** season he ranks in the very highest percentiles for getting touches in the opposition box and receiving progressive passes. Little things like that will be the first things you’ll notice when he’s gone and we line up with more inside, come to feet, players like Mount or Cunha on a regular basis.

This yeah but Vini was humble and did not say anything in those trench seasons even when Benzema said that thing about him, Garnacho should shut up and work hard not throwing tantrums

He barely through a tantrum though (any player in his shoes would be pissed). It’s not like Vinni was dropped in the most important game of their season by a certain Mason Mount.
