I really hope purging the club of its demon spawn players who wouldnāt be seen dead getting into 18 of the PL sides in the league and replacing them with a full squad of hyper specific system players works. I really do.

Ngl the club doesnāt survive if this rebuild doesnāt work, letting Ten Hag have the reigns did so much damage.

I think dorgu is worse than dalot, so if we dont improve there it is going to be tough. the opposition doesn't even mark him anymore he has so much space and does nothing with it.

Dorgu is 20, and was one of the better players in the final (even if that's not saying much)
Dalot at that age couldn't even get into the squad before getting shipped off to AC Milan on loan
There's potential there but he's young and has a lot to work on - you'd expect that for a 20 year old really
And add to all of that he's coming into the PL so experiencing a more physical play than he's used to in Serie A (where the failed United players get prop for looking decent, funny that)
Him being our only January signing for Ā£25 million is a failing of those above him, its not on him

The better question imo is should we be spending 25m on raw players who have potential given our current position, or should we be focusing on ready made talents

imo this is a terrible move by Hag. hes taking over from the guy that had arguably the best run ever for Leverkusen. no way he matches that. and hes going to lose all his star players before he even gets there with Wirtz and Frimpong.
