Garnacho’s comments yesterday made me okay with it
And what about this absurd quote from the manager?

https://twitter.com/AmorimBalll_/status/1925308671921115281I’d back the manager over the player
I’d back the manager over the player
… based on what, exactly?
I’m taking Carrington graduates who have shown performances at a top level over a manager who hasn’t coached two wins on the trot
Would you be content with us discarding Mainoo as well?

Amad Yoro Mainoo keep. Bin everybody off idc if it’s a s*** deal even just get some youth and it can’t be worse than 16th imo. I’d keep Case and some others around to set standards but everyone in the middle is worthless to me.
Can’t argue with that. Pick up a Valencia and it’s happy days

Valencia would be absolutely bonkers in this setup
What does Amorim need to do between August and December to keeping his job?
Keep us in the league cup (lol) and be top 8

There’s no PSR benefit to sacking a manager
Sadly the Glazers ownership have strained our finances to the point where we’ll need to sell academy products regularly now. Especially as the debt and interest continues to grow.
I’m a fan of Garnacho, though he can be frustrating to watch. I thought he’d grow more this season especially when it comes to decision making. Anything close to the 70m Napoli seemed to be ready to spend would go a long way for us.
No more brother posts and leaks either which is a huge red flag for a young player imo.
I’ll never forget that goal vs city as long as I live though. Absolute magical day

Exist
we're doing the usual thing. keeping ball and not creating anything substantial in final third with Norwich having best chance by far from a counter
2019. Mental this could be from last week

GLAZERS GLAZERS GLAZERS
There’s a large chance we’re going to sell our two brightest and biggest youth talents and a monumental factor for that is the fact that our manager cannot fit them into his not fit for purpose system. If he really fancied them there’s no a chance they’d be close to being up for grabs.
PSR is just the icing on the cake.
That’s where Manchester United football club is right now.

a fish rots from the head
Zero academy players started last night. There will very likely be zero in the starting squad next season.
If Mainoo, Rashford, and Garnacho all leave, there will be none who will play a significant role.
Manchester United in 2025
Y’all want me to tell y’all a lil secret
You don’t know it yet but these moments might be the fondest memories you have of your club looking back. Hard times create soul ties bro’s.

It's going to largely depend on schedule, but I think if he can average 2 points a game out of the first third of the season, he'll probably survive that period, if not, then idk.
I don't really agree with the whole "this is actually a blessing in disguise cuz now we only have to focus on the league" narrative that I've seen a few people spinning. It's largely because I have very little belief in what's going on right now, but no European football means fewer games and fewer games means more time to dwell on what's going on in the league. If things aren't going well, and there's no competition to fall back on, things are probably gonna get ugly quite quickly.
