yeah but thats also due in part to SAF winning 6 or whatever it was titles during his time managing and them being here. there's no commercial success without SAF, I dont want to give a lot of credit to glazers when I think a lot of decent executives and suits could figure out how to grow revenue when you have Ronaldo Rooney CL finals and nonstop league titles.

There were decent executives and suits sitting in Madrid and Barcelona too I'm sure, and their teams weren't too shabby, none of them were doing what we did

Mate, you do realise we are on the New York Stock Exchange. Have a look at how many other clubs are publicly listed

And how does their dividend history compare to ours my friend?

  • DwindlingSun

You're right, Sir Alex had the same squad for a decade

Do you really think the Glazers have overseen the rebuild of a dominating squad at any point of their 20 year ownership?

They all do s***. You think you're making some smart point but you're not. Their stock performance is toilet paper compared to ours.

There's barely any dividends to take because they're losing money like water half the time. Barring basically Dortmund occasionally.

We have continually catapulted upwards revenue wise and in that time Glazers took 20m 6 times. That 20m is relatively absolutely f*** all.

So you’re saying under Glazer ownership were the only global football club that takes out quarterly dividends?

This is just stupid, am I discussing this with you or a twitter account.

You can google what a share buyback is. Google also what the dividend schedule was, hint: not quarterly.

Nothing else in this or the below post has added anything new to the discussion.

You’re right it was semi-annual, so twice a year but that doesn’t change that fact that no other club is giving out dividends at a regular rate like that. Dortmund and Juventus have given out dividends before but not even comparable to the scale of ticker symbol MANU

You don’t think these types of decisions are holding us back on the pitch?

  • And the fact that we haven’t gone into Administration as the biggest club in the world is evidence of a successful self sustaining business model???

I love it when people can offer an informed counter argument. Does shed some light and make you reconsider some things to get a more accurate full picture 🤔

Rare. Usually it ends up with name calling and a block.
