this is not an altIdk about Nani but it’s always been crazy to me how some players can live in a country for 10+ years and still not speak a word of the country’s language, especially w all the free time and resources these guys got.

If Lyon won and it helped ease their financial struggles it’d be a Cinderella story. It adds a bit more magic to it if it’s like desperately needed.
Personally I think it’s way more interesting as it stands because there’s a lot more at stake. If we were in the top four it wouldn’t matter as much.

I don’t want him to leave in the slightest, but I wouldn’t blame him if he did.
We will not get anyone even close to as good. He is the catalyst behind this entire team and leads it. Hate him or love him he’s united through and through. Even signing wirtz or whoever the young AM/CM future ballon dor is rn, they won’t come close to replacing Bruno imo. And he’s got I think like 5 years of being an elite elite player left due to how he conditions himself his dedication and his unreliance on pace. It would have to be like 150-175M for me to think about the offer.

yeah tevez was just a pure footballer. I think honestly it's just about background and where you come from - the environment / way youre raised in the South American countries is like a fight to survive / get out. unlike Europe where most kids will learn at least 2 languages growing up even if theyre trying to become the next Ronaldo.
but agree once you get here like why not learn the language.
