sure he has a lot of potential that can quite possibly make it seem like 50m was a steal in the future but honestly it’s not like his value is going anywhere higher in the upcoming months if he ends up staying, either it’s 50 now or 30-40ish in the summer imo

40m seems too low for now but 50 is fair imo, at that point i think it’d be wise to let go of him given his position in the team…. and while this one might hurt more rather than the well-needed clearance of all the deadwood i think it’s still an inevitable sale that was bound to happen sooner or later imo - given united’s laughable inability to sell at the right time these past few years i think it’s better to sell now and not prolonging it any further…. this team needs the restructuralization a la chelsea (maybe not so drastic and chaotic though) so i think this could be an important step cause you gotta start somewhere

also personally i think his mentality is not so great as shown in the recent events, yes he’s young ofc so it’s not that deep but i think conte is the right move for him as well and could do wonders for garnacho’s own future
