Zubimendi to Liverpool apparently
i’ll believe it when i see it tbh
not much talk anywhere about the personal terms so far, 60m price for the release clause was never the problem for any of these clubs but there’s something fishy about him agreeing to a move all of a sudden after apparently declining arsenal, bayern, barcelona and possibly united so i’m not falling for it yet
would be excited as hell though
If the only thing we do this summer now is bring in Berge it's a massive failure

I’m with scholes, least excited I’ve been for a season in a long time.
Onana is still here.
Centre back is worse than last year with Maguire in there over varane.
Centre mid is worse than last year with casemiro a year older.
Hojlund is already injured.
Our biggest problem has always been Centre mid. We need minimum 2 good new mids. And zero have been signed.

Yeah he’s spot on tbh. We’re setting ourselves up to fail
McTominay is gonna stay and leave for even cheaper next year when he gets zero game time because mount is healthy.
We’re going to risk Martinez against city for 90 mins cause we don’t learn anything unless we make the same mistake 5 times.

Mount and Mctominay battling for the starting position

I just don't understand
Millions and millions spent in transfers over the past 7+ years
But no step forward whatsoever
Like how did we just buy a new CB + ST but we still have the same issues as the end of last season?

The past 7+ year spend is unfortunately irrelevant really.
We know it was essentially pot shotting with ludicrous offers - as good as Amad is, look at the way we signed him. Ole thought he was pretty good then he was signed for 40m which changes the conversation.
I'm pretty sure it was only 2 years ago we bid 100m+ for Joao Felix
The new CB + ST signings are promising but we need so, so much more. It'll be a disaster and when ETH is sacked it'll be inevitable because we've failed to do what was needed as a bare minimum this summer
To predicate an entire summer's business based on sales was just naive from those in charge as well

yeah but all this money spent has f***ed us financially, because we don’t have that kinda money to splash anymore and or we are limited on what we can spend. we now have the ideal line up above ten hag but we can’t take full of advantage of it because our hands our tied in what we can do
we need to ship players but none of them want to go cus of the ridiculous wages, no club is matching that and because we can’t sell, we are limited on what we can buy
Im convinced the de ligt and mazrauoi deal is ready to go but we HAVE to sell someone first..
Bruh
The fan base going to turn on shaw so fast this season, maybe false rumour but he is a doubt for Saturday after going to the euros

We had to

It's a minimum 3 window job, they've said this

We signed Amad and Pellistri in a panic because we had a banker spend all summer negotiating a failed bid for Sancho

It’ll be a lot more than 3 if this one is anything to go off
I'm still waiting for the De Ligt announcement

I think it'll only happen if we let mctominay go. we should just accept the stupid fulham bid already and stop posturing. we gots no leverage.
wild. can't even consider dalot/licha fully fit considering they have played 0 preseason minutes and Saturday we are throwing them into the fire against city. recipe for disaster.
