I'm happy with De Ligt but only alongside another cb. I do think Branthwaite would have been better.
I think I like it
Looks Liverpool-y
The transfers currently going in on in the prem are pure money laundering. A championship player going for 40 mil to Tottenham, Brighton signing an unproven Newcastle talent for 35, Nottingham signing another unknown Newcastle ‘talent’ for even more. This s*** needs to get investigated man cus wtf

FFP "restrictions" are just laughable

These aren't big sums of money anymore.
Can i say that snapdragon logo looks like it was made in Paint
Typical Glazer deal. Better than Teamviewer i guess
Can’t deny INEOS is cooking
Can’t believe we have been run by Woodward and after that Richard Arnold and John Murtough for the last 10+ years
Told yall it would be an upward trend from here on out
All it took was patience instead of “sack the manajah”

We've signed some backroom staff. We're not a finance company, we're a football team.
The football was terrible. We need to kick a ball before you can say we're on an "upward trend"
On the fence about both De Ligt and Ugarte, really. I think they’re both good players who will improve the side, but they come with accompanying flaws to their strengths.
In all, I think both deals sound ‘decent’. Nothing that really has me on the edge of my seat or anything.
Though having been jaded so many times on transfers, maybe that’s the way to be nowadays.

Falls in the range of some good signings, not great signings for me.
Not overly excited

these signings make sense and how it should be going forward. i hope the days of dropping bags on ready made superstars are over, one is maybe fine every now and then to sell shirts but for now we need to focus on rebuilding the team with good players

What did you think in particular? I’ve never seen him play but assume his profile is a younger Casemiro no?

You’re right, but at least these kind of signings are relatively cheap and lower risk than our usual ones. It’s good to see we’re looking at good deals instead of just good players.
We’ve signed less established players for a whole lot more in the past. If we had went for Brantwaithe for 70 mil then I’d be really worried.
