excited would definitely be a strong word to describe how i feel, but i’m very intrigued yet quite scared at the same time…. i am excited about the new era no matter what though

he was not my prefered pick and it all came quite outta nowhere but we definitely could’ve got someone way worse i guess…. overall i’d say i’m feeling satisfied but not gonna act like i’m over the moon or anything

however luckily i still feel like the club’s management is competent enough in this ares and could be pretty much trusted in things such as important as picking a new manager so i fully trust that he’s a good, well-thought pick, hopefully they won’t let me down…. he’ll surely have the backing and i have no problem putting my trust in him this season too, ready to back him as well

all in all, right now it feels to me like it might be a bit of a step into the unknown for now, but i’ll trust the process:)

well it was between xabi and amorim to me ever since klopp announced his depart. obviously i was clearly favoring xabi but i would be really greatly satisfied with amorim as well. was really happy when there were rumors later that he would come and it seemed like a deal was very close, but then it all seemingly just faded away completely.

to be fair though i was honestly paying zero attention to slot all that time so honestly i was very unsure what to expect. i quite quickly got over the early disappointment though (it didn’t even make a lot of sense), it was more just me a bit gutted about amorim deal not happening when it was seemingly close.

as i said, he’s still a bit of a step into the unknown for me, even though i watched a few games after he was announced…. hard to judge off that though cause the opposition was just some lower tier dutch teams all the time…. we’ll see though, i’ll definitely trust the process and the management, and the general support and seemingly positive atmosphere after his announcement within the club and among quite a lot of people got me a bit more reassured that he could be the right pick given the current cirucumstances

Yeah those are obviously heavy candidates. But i don’t think they were both ever ready to leave their current clubs so i kind of wrote them off early on. And seeing how difficult it’s getting on the manager market with fewer and fewer experienced and accomplished names you couldn’t have gotten much better than Slot imo.

So yeah we’ll see how this pans out. But the structure at Liverpool seems conducive to success.
