YayoCity will have their tough fixtures too, just look at their February fixtures, all we have to do is keep up the pace and we’ll be thereabouts, 75-80 points will have us there until the end, I believe we can achieve that.
True, the games leading up to the Manchester Derby are huge for both. City's hardest games are Spurs, Pool, Arsenal and Villa while United have Everton, Southampton, Arsenal and Chelsea. The goal should be to be ahead of them at that point (including games in hand)

I dont think hes played for Southgate in 2 years but yeah would be dumb to not take him. shaw/chilwell are the best left backs. trippier is a Southgate favorite but guy wont play for next 10 weeks, and hasn't been as good as shaw

he covers at LB too for England. Southgate trusts him to do both roles from the games I watched over last 2 years

Jan 20, 2021·edited·1 replyPretty baffling team decision imo. Do we have such little faith in VDB that we can't trust him to start against 18th place Fulham? Especially when Bruno's one yellow off suspension and we have Liverpool again at the weekend. Same problem for Shaw and Maguire too.
Edit: Huh, I was under the assumption yellow cards carry into the FA cup but just learned they don't. I feel like that's new? At least makes that decision more tolerable.
