Mainoo has nice touches but his shortcoming is that he does not demand the ball enough. scholes/carrick/gerrard/lampard/fabregas etc all wanted the ball constantly. mainoos influence is way too small. he also plays it too safe too often. it reminds me of rio's story about Keane blasting him for playing it sideways. like you're at united, there is no point laying it off to amrabat beside you. needs to be more confident next year. thats what makes Bellingham the best in the world. he wants that ball constantly. all the greats do. he needs to change this behaviour, or he will just end up good, not great.

Nope. Sky and TBT have the main coverage and will show like 3 games on Saturday and Sunday, then a game on Monday. Sometimes the lesser channels/public broadcasters will show games (ITV, Channel 4, or Amazon).

Sky used to have all the rights and would give you a red button option to choose which game you wanted but that only seems to happen with European games nowadays.

i’m grateful for this tbh, i’m all for variety in champions league and always welcoming these new teams from top5 leagues that had a good season…. just like it was cool to see union, lens or even newcastle and sociedad make it last season

this the one thing i totally don’t have an issue with when it comes to CL tbh, even though I agree that it’s kinda disadvantageous to those top teams from smaller leagues I still rather have top 4’s/5’s from better leagues in there instead of title-winners from almost any farmers league…. they just have to play for it in the uel/uecl to boost their coeficient just like the czech teams did it this season, and i think it’s somewhat fair tbh, all those teams from top5 leagues deserve it since they face much tougher opponents throughout the season

with crvena zvezda (who went straight into the CL group stages last season thanks to the coeficient btw) it’s just partizan and with kyiv it’s just shakhtar tbh, same here it’s just between slavia/sparta/plzen all the time, rest of the league can’t compare quality wise when you compare it to all these lower-tier teams from top leagues who still have decent quality to put up a fight with the bigger teams…. btw i’m very happy cause thanks to the great performances from slavia/sparta/plzen in europe our league just secured a CL group stage spot for whoever wins the title next season, gonna make the title battle so exciting next year too, club football here is after quite a long while in quite a great place again after these past two seasons/with sparta getting back to full power after all those years to finally give slavia some competition…. almost every game for the top 3 is sold out and the rivalry between the prague “S” got really really spicy again… interest in football here seems to be almost at a full time high lately and i love to see it ….i think the prague teams could have a decent future in european competitions if it continues to go like this and we can hold on to the CL spot for at least a few more years
