40m for somebody to play 5 minutes every game
Really pointless transfer if he's gonna be utilised this way. So frustrating to see 40m flushed away when there's areas of the team that were far more in need of bolstering.

Think he'll come into his own when Pogba leaves. People had the same concerns about Fabinho and Fernandinho this far into their EPL careers.

It shouldn't really hinge on Pogba. Its not like they play the same role. VDB isn't suitable for a midfield two behind Fernandes nor playing out wide left like Pogba has been recently.
He's been bought to allow us to rest Fernandes but the refusal to actually do so makes it a pointless transfer. We saw Bruno's quality take a nosedive at the end of last season when he was playing every game and for some reason Ole is making the same mistake. He's just really bad at rotation, we've seen it with AWB, Maguire, Lindelof recently, Rashford last season. There's no reason not to have given Bruno a rest recently, be it against Everton, Wolves, subbing off earlier against Leeds. Instead he's started every game and been steadily getting worse/making crucial mistakes - counter attack yesterday; against Leicester.
And yeah some might say well Bruno has to play as much as possible and we've seen what happens when he is rested. Well if you don't give VDB a chance to build some match rhythm and to mesh then it's inevitable he's gonna look off the pace and ineffective compared to Bruno's output. Not to mention his confidence is likely shot. Just really poor management again.
Bruno was only brought in because Pogba was injured and meant to be out for the majority of last season. So by that logic VDB was unnecessary too. Bruno and Pogba should have just been rotating for the no. 10 role. Instead now Ole's forced to push Pogba wide left which in turn means Rashford is playing on the right wing. So you've got two of your supposed best players playing in unideal positions. Terrible foresight to get to this stage.
Don't know why you guys are sucking off Stones when Ruben Dias is clearly the difference maker
Cause he’s English mate. I’m sure Dias is great too but I got a bias

I agree that Bruno should be rotated more irrespective of how much 'adapting' VDB still has to do. I also agree that we are playing too many players out of position. Hopefully we get a proper DM who allows us to play two '8s' (Bruno and VDB) next season. Then Rashford could go back to the left as well.

Yeah agreed a proper DM has to be the priority.
"Yes, he's excelled at youth level and yes, even with those from age groups above, but in my view he's not comparable to players like Barcelona's Ansu Fati, Real Madrid's Vinicius Jr., Reinier or Rodrygo, who I all tracked at youth level. And for the money involved in this deal you expect a potential world star. I just don't see Amad Diallo having the same potential of those I mentioned."

So right about Rashford, he needs to be cutting inside on the left. If he's going to force Pogba into the team why not try him in our non- existent right wing?
What happened????? @Valenciaisthebest

Bruno on the right might be a shout too in some games especially when he gets man marked out of them
Woodward is such a clown I can’t believe we’re going to have a team like Everton pick him up

with your failure to secure Caicedo, idk if we can keep you as our head of South American scouting.
your wage is high, and this is a big let down.

I feel like the issue is theres never really been an elite Ecuadorian midfielder. And other than Valencia I cant recall any Ecuador players playing for the very top sides and excelling. Somebody has to be the first, for the top sides to be willing to go for a guy still playing in Ecuador and bring them to a United or Madrid or PSG etc

Maybe our last elite player in the center of the park was Edison Mendez and the farthest he went as PSV
still f*** Woodward all the way.
6 f***ing mil
wasn't klopp whining about penalties and then about the 5 substitutes and about his squad being decimated. yet half his squad today are first team starters. going up against villa's under 17 team...
Mane and Salah starting and you're drawing against foetuses at HT
They're a joke atm, monumental f*** up if United don't beat them
