unless rodrygo decides to leave madrid when both endrick and mbappe arrive..

i highly doubt that but in case that happens the board should do anything in order to land him, i’d be over the moon with that signing…. i mean funny enough he’s not a true RW either as he’s right-footed of course but still, absolutely elite player and i love him way more than vini

i think he’s the only player whose impact could come somehow close salah’s at the moment

  • Apr 2, 2024

anyways all this talk depends on who’s appointed as the new manager though so it’s actually quite pointless to even discuss atm i’m afraid.. still fun though

  • Apr 2, 2024

one thing that’s pretty much sure though is that for salah’s replacement we will be most definitely looking at a very different profile from him

can’t say i disagree lol😹😹 i wasn’t convinced by bakayoko at all at first and i’m still not to be honest but he just reminds me of doku so much and i’ve always wanted doku badly

however i do feel like he could be a true diamond in the rough and there’s so many areas to be worked on, that boy definitely got potential that’s undeniable…. just often comes off quite chaotic and very immature in the final third when making the final decision but when he does it right for once it’s a stunner most of the time

reminds me at times of leao when he played at the season at lille before moving on (even though i remember that very vaguely at this point)

can’t even say i’m overwhelmed and ecstatic by the idea of having him but at the same time i’m not delusional and it’s just better to accept that nobody is going to replace salah, player of his profile is just irreplacable full stop

and quite sadly i don’t see any better (or perhaps more perspective would fit better) alternative on the market other than bakayoko at the very moment…. i do like bowen and pedro neto but i don’t reckon these guys have a much higher ceiling and i don’t think they’d be suitable long-term solutions

    Bowen is underrated.

you think Rodrygo is better than vini?

probably not better but the gap between them is not as big as many people think imo

vini’s most definitely more impactful on the overall madrid game in like pretty much every match, don’t think i can say the same about rodrygo everytime

both surely are big game players that can turn the whole game around pretty much on their own though…. and already shown it quite a few times

feel like this is a very dumb comparison but i sort of get the feeling that it’s somehow similar to the ronaldo-benzema situation (just in a totally different variation)…. rodrygo might kinda be in vini’s (and now even jude’s) shade for quite a while now but i have no doubts that if vini left that rodrygo would put the team on his back and just pave the way to glory and suddenly get all the shine like benz did

i really admire rodrygo’s mentality though he just seems like a truly elite bloke (especially for a brazilian), comes off as a very likeable guy

    Bowen is underrated.

very much agree.. just don’t know if i see him as a starter long-term

would absolutely love to have him as an option but i think he deserves better than to be a rotational player for the most part

i think i could definitely do like two or three years with him if he was the salah’s replacement.. he definitely wouldn’t disappoint in the prem i’m sure about that

So we truly got zero reliable centrebacks, great

  • Apr 2, 2024

always wondered how kvara would do at the opposite wing.. he seems quite both-footed and certainly is gifted enough to do well at both wings i’d say

might be wrong but i think he even played there a few times last season

i think he could adapt to that RW role pretty easily as well, would be probably the only player coming close to salah’s impact besides previously mentioned rodrygo

don’t think he’s just a one season wonder at all, napoli are having a s*** season obviously but that’s nothing new under the sun with their management, last season was truly an exception and it was so evident that all is leading to s*** with rudi garcia’s appointment lol…. however kvara seemingly still comes through when needed, not all the time and definitely not as consistently as last year, but still does

i would be greatly surprised if todibo doesn’t come in the summer

the rat is gonna be the plug for sure

woulda already happened in the winter imo if everyone wasn’t so paranoid after the everton situation

personally think he will do great at united, still think you missed out on both him and disasi in the summer badly…. would’ve been more wisely invested funds instead of someone like mount (i still don’t get that move to this day to be quite honest)

i liked disasi even more tbh but think both would be a great profile and fit for united

(chelsea unfortunately makes everyone look bad besides palmer so that’s kinda harsh on disasi but imo he’s been doing quite decent in all that mess that’s going on out there, miles clear off guys like badiashile and definitely among the better players chelsea have rn)

Would be blasphemous for me to watch that lol. Watched Sunderland Til I Die and the Spurs one but only because I knew we finished above them that season

First United defender to win PL POTM since Vidic

Don't let that Lindelof bum fool you - No one would look good next to that clown show

  • Apr 3, 2024

Press misleading about Varane is laughable. Saying he's out of all games lol. All he said was he's not played at times this season due to concussion, nothing more

honorable mention to 36 year old Johnny Evans

done way better than I thought he would

He's not indefensible but the criticism is very unfair - especially when ETH won't get us UCL so our first rebuild summer under INEOS is severely hamstrung.

We need to be selective about what comes/goes.

recouping the wages is enough of pro to let him go for me

I know he’s an fa/English pr guy but Gallagher being in the England squad over Barkley is crazy
