Teaser with Clayface?
Josh Goldstine was head of WB marketing when Barbie launched, and they went with a December 2022 first look/teaser type thing for it to open with Avatar 2, ahead of Barbies july 2023 release
He was also there for the very start of Superman's marketing, which also had a December teaser date, for its july 2025 release
That marketing head isn't there anymore but I think its likely they drop December again. Can go in front of Dune/Doom
I can’t lie if they do introduce ww in man of tomorrow I kinda feel like that’s a mistake. Like how much of this movie is gonna be dedicated to setting up ww now. I know we getting hella other heroes in mot but a character as iconic as ww is different if u ask me, she deserves a proper debut. For example I don’t think just throwing in Batman on mot would work either. Characters like that deserve their own movie/project first.
Imma let em cook tho
that's valid, great points
I just look at it as a way to introduce her to the biggest audience possible since this movie gonna do numbers
I feel the opposite, if it's Maxima then there would be less secrecy about it. Maxima isn't some crazy important character to keep lowkey in my opinion, especially with all the other heroes that have been confirmed and announced to be in this
Exactly. We just went through this with Sadie Sink in Brand New Day.
If the role wasn’t a major casting, then there would be no secrecy surrounding it

Dune / Doom would be fantastic especially if it’s a good one

U probably right tbh, but like u implied i hope it’s just a cameo

It’s also so weird for Gunn not to do a
‘Welcome to Man of Tomorrow, my friend Adria Arjona’ post as soon as the trades reported she was in the movie. He did that for all the other big roles im pretty sure
He’s been friends with adria for a decade, he knows people love her, he would’ve done a big post for her if her role was simply what we think
Now that filming has finished, will he reveal what's next for DCU? Green Lantern or WW standalone film next?

If I had to guess given Lantern’s reception and however the season ends up GL John Stewart movie announced when the season wraps up

Ryan Coogler attached to a John Stewart Green Lantern would be crazy
Ryan Coogler attached to a John Stewart Green Lantern would be crazy
As great as that would be let’s get him out the franchise factory
Need another original before that at the least
I know peele having issues with his next
Giving him a franchise film like GL would be cool if he wanted it
Ryan Coogler attached to a John Stewart Green Lantern would be crazy
Damon going to do him justice just fine
Feels like if she would be WW, it would be revealed before the film releases
Theirs no way they’d be able to hold Wonder Woman hidden until release. It’ll 100% get leaked.
It’s also so weird for Gunn not to do a

great point too
yeah this is all leading me to believe it's a more serious character or Maxima is just the name they're using but it's actually Wonder Woman if that makes sense
As great as that would be let’s get him out the franchise factory

yeah im lowkey annoyed he's doing another black panther movie lol
would love for him to do a static movie tho
I know peele having issues with his next

Also some plot details for this leaked and if true, this movie going to be a lot more dramatic than superman.
Apparently the leaked elements were going to appear in the last movie but Gunn wanted to make superman brighter in tone
Apoc says he believes she's maxima so idk
yeah I mean if she is Maxima then cool, I just feel like it's weird how quiet they're being about Maxima you know?

I fully expect it to be a darker movie. especially with the new DP and the stakes that Brainiac brings to the table. I am expecting a great movie to be honest, better than Superman and if it isn't then imma be really disappointed

Same, I think since this isn't a direct superman sequel and not the entry point of the DCU he's going to have a lot more freedom to do things he wasnt able to with Superman
Imagine
he did great on the scenes he did for peacemaker s2 but the budget he gonna get for this movie gonna lead to amazing shots

this gives me hope
Superman had some of the ugliest lighting i've seen in a while. just baffling that a multi-million dollar movie looked like a sitcom
