Miles did get hate initially when he was introduced. Once he became a fixture no one cared, then they released Spider-Verse and he blew up.

Because they didn’t rush to make a Miles Morales live action film when Garfield Spider Man was flopping. It’s not the same situation and this wouldn’t be getting the same reaction if it was just an animated film

And there is no comparable black superhero to Spider Man available to the Marvel Universe like Icon is For DC

The more I think about it it could be a cool elseworlds type film tho

They’re tryna build out U2 that they’re starting with Pattinson Batman

I'm sure this is a coincidence but interesting that right around this news, Infinite Frontier #0 (next phase of DC comics) drops with Calvin Ellis making an appearance as President Superman. He's gonna play a big role in overseeing how they explore the multiverse in their big event this summer

Didn't realize that character was actually his Earth's U.S President.
