He's almost guaranteed to get a #1 following the release of a new album but it's also not something that's set in stone if there's a much bigger #1 hit out there the week he drops his album. Either way, he'll be fine. We need him to deliver across an entire album, not just a song.

I can’t speak for Mal or anyone else but I do want Drake to have a number 1 record on his next album not because I’m obsessed but because he’s so close to breaking such a monumental music record… why not hope he can get that? You make a good point though. I wanted NOKIA to go number 1 but it didn’t but it’s been his most popular, stable hit since Jimmy Cooks/LNCL. There is something to be said about just letting the music speak for itself and letting it happen organically. But I look at it as I just want my favorite artist to continue to reach heights we never thought was possible and to continue to put himself in a stratosphere that no one can reach. That’s just my thoughts on him getting another number 1
