    But the standout songs on there were some of the most replayed and replayable songs of the decade

    Jan 28th is one of his best songs ever but yeah there is a middle chunk of that album where I'm not that fond of

    Off Season has no skips and his mixtapes are classics

    Yeah and there are multiple ways to look at an album, as I hope you’re aware. One of those is a front to back context. Another would be a song for song context. I understand some of yall get really stuck in one perspective tho

    Tyler’s been putting together better albums than Cole more consistently but his new rapping isn’t always it, him trying to be super materialistic or braggy makes me cringe sometimes

    Cole’s much better with flows and wordplay, MDL was a mid project but he was locked in for some verses

    pure rap ability, this nigga Cole has highkey gotten better. MDL he was rapping his ass off and even the 2 tracks he dropped in 2025 were superb efforts
