    Cole was actually RAPPING rapping and doing it over beats that weren't ass what more do y'all want from him lol

    Tbh I should run it back but the beats to me were partially an issue for me with TFO (some good songs to be clear)

    Like I think Cole’s rapping ability is strong but I much prefer him on more modern beats like Amari on Off Season which I think compliments him way more than most of the TFO beats*

    *not that they’re all Boom Bap or whatever but I didn’t find them very engaging for most part

    Cole dropped a big album that was the antithesis of what you just said but the OP still claims that it "came and went."

    Hip Hop media as a whole is trash though. Literally just male Wendy Williams types gossiping and focusing on beef and narratives more than the music.

    This conversation needs to be had more, Hip Hop media is so wack now and a lot of these kids don't know any better.
