May 17·1 replyLord QuasPretty much, cause his sound got suuuuuuper stale for me over the years & idk how people don't really call him out for it. But I also should know "if it ain't broke, don't fix it".
He ain't an innovator like a Kanye where he pushes the sound of the culture forward & be successful at it.
Just puts out safe middle ground pop music that's digestible for the masses.
Him connecting with the ladies as well sets him over the edge too which is why he's the stream king.
I personally don't think it sounds all that stale for me but I respect your opinion. It's definitely better than FATD and CLB

I don't want to hear about 2 year old beefs, I don't want to hear generic production that sounds like every other project of yours (aside from cats like Conductor),I don't want to hear the same flows, etc.
"Make them Pay" & "Firm Friends" are the only joints I like outta' all the s*** that was dropped.
If he were to do something like he did with the deluxe for "FATD" with production from Al, Conductor, etc. & actually tap in with his pen, it'd be his best project since "IYRT"
But I think he's in way over his head musically nowadays & will continue to do what he does cause it's formulaic & the consumer will continue to eat it up.

I'm not sure tbh, but I think he'll put something out that tops "Bully" & will be middle ground in his discog.
I think the classic days are over, but he'll give us a great album that sits well in his discog.
Think kinda like a Beats, Rhymes, Life is for Tribe.
It ain't "PIP", "Low End" or "Midnight", but is a helluva' album that could become a cult classic to the consumer.
