what are your favorite songs on kiss me kiss me kiss me?
(besides just like heaven ofc)
All I Want and The Perfect Girl
here is rough 25 please no bully
its so dusty
haven’t heard that janes addiction album in a very long time
raw power over funhouse? Interesting. I love both, but iggy a bit more entertaining on funhouse imo.
i think james williamson guitar was more unhinged and viscous than ron ashetons on fun house tbh
and the songs themselves are just a bit more compelling to me. i like Search and Destroy and Gimme Danger better than anything on fun house.
honestly i could prefer every song on Raw Power except Shake Appeal/I Need Somebody to anything off Fun House
and fun house would probably make my top 50 albums
and the bowie mix >>>>
I think I like Bug and Where You Been more than You're Living All Over Me
damn...
great albums tho!

I much prefer the iggy mix tbh.
can't get with Dinosaur Jr's vocalist honestly
i dig the slacker vibe. and the vocals also sound indie af
its like he is uninterested in what hes singing but hes actually a little emotional and the whole things fits the music well imo
All I Want and The Perfect Girl
nice choices, i feel like everyone has different favorites from it. theres just so many songs of unique styles, took me a while to fully appreciate them all
On a rap website. Barely listens to rap. Name a more iconic duo.
I don't think it's a rap website
I much prefer the iggy mix tbh.
the authentic one >>>>
the iggy mix is just too loud which i think actually takes away some of the power of the album in some cases. in the bowie mix the lead guitar is super super loud so when it comes in on the solos its absolutely piercing
ive just gotten used to it at this point so i dont mind how the drums or bass sounds anymore, it all sounds normal and perfectly f***ed up to me
the 2012 version of the iggy mix is waaaaay better than the original version of it tho
id say my top 15 is solidified for me

Three Days is one of my favorite songs ever
i also like the distinct division between the style of the songs before that and the ones after it

happy to see piper at the gates of danw and close to the edge
i tried to vibe with live/dead (because of my uncle) but that one track with nothing but feedback ruined it for me
I don't think it's a rap website
True, it's more like a bad opinion website full of children who think pop punk is experimental.
pop punk is the worst punk

I've never seen some1 say that but idk maybe
We doing top 100 lists? No order

now i'm thinking about doing one but i'm too lazy
garage punk arguably too

punk blues and post-punk are my top two punk affiliated genres

lol the feedback
that was just something they did at the end of the live shows in that era. i actually kinda like it tbh but i wouldnt think of that song as representative of anything other than how they liked to close the last 5 minutes of the show making a racket.
in terms of 1969 (maybe their best year) i think Live/Dead could have been better than it was with a slightly different tracklisting. tbh im kinda cheating when i put that in there. in my head im really thinking of the entire performances that it was culled from which definitely eclipse live/dead itself
