i’ve had this album for 10 years and honestly i cant get into it. I respect the work but it isn’t for me. Hurt and Closer are classics, but this album always just made me feel dirty and uncomfortable.

yeah I can understand that. Its a tough album to sit down and listen to all the way through because of its in your face depiction of absolute depravity.

The transition from the end of Eraser to the drop on Reptile is one mainstream music’s heaviest, darkest, most raw muscle-tensing moments. The Downward Spiral is truly a groundbreaking musical achievement
