Tbh Mac is one of the best rappers of all time not just a white rapper. His music was genre bending and shows so much growth and musical genius. He is missed.

Was thinking about this today after finishing the project. He has a great discography overall. Sure things can be debated but his artistic growth is undeniable.

He simply expanded his artistic ability, especially with the help of Jon Brion, but Mac never left rap nor did we ever get to see his next phase after Swimming/Circles, which based on programs and button, was back to his pure rapper bag.

Mac Miller is a rapper who expanded his artistic abilities to match his abilities with all the instruments he was learning/mastering but that doesn’t make him not a rapper anymore lmfao
