Same, I think the saving grace is that a lot of what got butchered on the official Faces was the movie clips that were used as transitions between songs. From what I remember, I don’t think there was a lot of that on Balloonerism.

Mac’s estate has been nothing but professional, respectful and reverent of his legacy. A lot of these dead rappers might as well be alive for these labels.

I prefer the rerelease of Faces tbh and that was my favourite album since it dropped. The tiny changes didn’t affect much
