He afraid of getting smoked
He afraid of catching a murder charge
Lil Wayne and Lupe Fiasco were both on Fall Out Boys arms race remix.
Come on now fellas lol.
A Classic Remix
He afraid of catching a murder charge
Sure the guy that goes around begging ppl to rap competitively is afraid of murdering someone on a track. And guess what he doesn't have one single body on a record.
Hov think Im Hov Nas think Im Nas

Lupe got a very low body count tbh, that’s one of his drawbacks in his career. I’m sure he’d keep up with most rappers anyway it’s just he doesn’t collab that much

Waynes verse on that was TRASH bro lmao come on
Lupe's verse
There's an arms race, like I'm runnin' on my hands
A dance marathon on my napalms, and
Drop mine's first so that they bombs can't
And Glocks, lasers, missiles, beat rocks, paper, scissors
I built mine's big, better build yours bigger
Built mine's quick so I could kill yours quicker
The number one supplier, the world's largest equipper
The second smallest dier, best non-coexister
I pledge allegiance to gasoline and bulletproof limousines
And leans on the property of the poor
And every night, I pray to the Lords Of War
Every man and mac eleven
That all good child rebel soldiers go to AK-47 heaven
And a landmine in every playground that they step in
And you took the footage from the camera on the tips
Of our bullets, and record like former Darfur
Wayne's verse
Yeah, it's Weezy, baby!
I am your arms dealer, I'm more like an armed dealer
Liter-rally, really, I don't get this song neither
But I'mma figure it out like a palm reader
And, since I be on TV, I turn it on to see me!
Hey, I'm so cool, even I wanna be me
That was totally off the subject
But for me, every song is like p**** so f*** it
Like Fresh, you dug it

Wayne's verse wasnt about nothing man lmaooo mad respect to Wayne but that verse wasnt it

After being blackballed it makes sense why his feature/ being featured-on list is low. He spoke the truth and got hit for it.
😆 you can't be serious. I know you love Lupe but that's literally one of his only holes in his resume.
He got smoked by Prime Wayne pretty easily and as I said he doesn't go head to head with many lyricist.
Okay you're wyling for this 1
Lupe's situation is weird as hell. He was on that K Dot / J Cole trajectory until that contract situation with Atlantic happened.
All the Lupe fans remember he was supposed to drop L.U.P.END the triple album that he was supposed to retire with, until that was scrapped for some reason and then he planned to make LASERS.
Shining Down & I'm Beamin dropped and then he started beefing with his label, LASERS got changed around and we got what we got. I feel like ever since then he's just been on f*** this trying to be a good artist s*** Imma just be the best lyricist.
But at this point he already got blackballed and people moved on to Kendrick and what not, which explains why he's a little salty about K Dot success.
So many people I know who used to keep up with Lupe in his prime dont even know T&Y happened smh
Hov think Im Hov Nas think Im Nas
This is not true at all lmao. Good line, but completely unbelievable

Jay Z:
That’s what I love about Lupe. I met Lupe, I’m going to say maybe ten years ago, I mean, I thought he was an extraordinary writer from—I executive produced his first album, so my role that I play in that is to expand it as far as I can, you know, make it—expand the genre of words and the maturity and the subject matter, the things we talk about, and try to stay closer to those truths and try to, you know, explain it as poetry—it should be taken seriously, ’cause it is poetry. Some of the things that are said are just mind-boggling. If you sit down and really listen to some of the things that this young man has said, it’s like you can’t believe it."
Why do yall just talk out yall ass

You can tell the story of Lupe without pretending he was gonna be Cole or Kendrick lol.
That's not even remotely true.
Okay you're wyling for this 1
You don't think rapping against other top tier rappers is important?

Dude I am not saying they don't respect his pen game. But they don't think he is in the same league as them. And he is not. Nas and Jay are both more relevant then him to this day and they came out way earlier than him. This is not hate, it is just fact. What he said was cap.
Nah the Wayne comment
Wayne isn't better than Lupe lyrically but he had way better, more quotable, more creative verse than Lupe
Which is the point I was proving that, you don't have to be better lyrically to out rap him lol.
