No one saying a doesn't matter but in a diss/battle rap it's the least of what you should care about.

Are y'all seriously saying he won cause of flow? That's hella shameless

I never said he won off flow. I just said it matters which is what they are disputing

No it doesn’t, no one talks about the flow its quotable and bars. Hov had a better flow on Takeover but the culture decided Nas won because of what… I’ll let you finish that.

And yet nearly everyone says takeover was the better song. Half of the people disputing ether argue it's better because it's a better song. Flow is apart of song. Nobody has ever said ether is a good song. Nas won because he was disrespectful. Not because he outbarred Jay Z. Moronic example. Again, you don't know rap

Ok i listened to Royce s*** again and it wasn't as bad as I thought initially but he still lost because he didn't direct enough jabs at Lupe.

I dont think Royce realizes Lupe studies battle rap and how industry rappers rap as opposed to battlers

No one cares about a song being better in a battle

This ain’t a discussion about which single was better chief.

Also I didn’t say he outbarred him you idiot, that’s your assumption. But people do remember the lines from Ether because Nas was being disrespectful. Therefore Nas had the quotables. Which at some part Lu was being mad disrespectful, see the correlation.

Get your story straight before coming at me

Yes. But how can you say that when I'm real battle rap, lyrics aren't even what wins most battles.

Lupe and Royce are more lyrical than geechi gotti or k shine and I would bet they both 30 royce and lupe in a battle.

exactly lmao. royce had the better diss.

I would probably add the Royce track to a playlist, because his beat and flows were smooth (I hated the mixing though). But DISS?? Lupe had the better diss track. Royce was rapping about a whole bunch of other stuff, while Lupe was smoking his ass for damn near the whole track

Bro, of course they would, there are many aspects in battle rap, crowd control, delivery, schemes etc but content is above flow every time in a battle or diss track.

You even mentioned daylyt and you're acting like his flow is more important than what he comes up with

that's like saying in takeover jay rapped bout other s*** so he lost. royce directly addressed lupe while making a song. There's nothing wrong with that lmao

People getting “ether’d” has been a thing over a couple of decades. People clearly thought Nas had a better diss track. Of course Jay-Z continued to win in life because he made hits.

    Daylyts most memorable bar.

Not lyrically dense...what made it work was how it flowed and the performance

That is battle rap I'm a nutshell. As impressive as he was Against tay rock none of that will be remembered like this

My guy, they are both important but I assure it wasn't his flow that cooked Roc lmao.

All of those rock flips into the solar system scheme into the s***. So many quotables and double entendres.
