eh I'd still say the MB (or Islamism as broadly defined) are the most authentic expression of the will of Arab people at their core and their biggest line of defense against residues of western imperialism and their puppet governments.

There's a reason they've won the 3 democratically held elections in the Arab world by a landslide. And even then counter-revolutionary agents rallied all their ressources to force them out of their seats. (Think FIS in Algeria and the military coup against the first democratically elected president in all of Egypt's histroy)

the muslim brotherhood was the creation of mid 20th century british diplomats and self-orientalizing capitalist compradors, its quite literally a puppet of western imperialism and was employed to do their dirty work in Syria. their's a reason Hamas does not affiliate with the MB anymore.

brother my dads side is from Khalil with roots in Yemen and my mother's side is from Haifa, lived as fishers and farm people before 1948 when the family were displaced from kuwait due to the war to Jordan which is where I currently am here to visit family right now in the yasmine area. Lol.

You are quite literally almost the exact same as a white liberal measuring blackness by how far left the person of that ethnicity is. If your gonna be so inflammatory, atleast be educated enough to engage with other views. Your point about Syrian protesters being some vaguely defined zionist funded agents provocateurs is absolute trite. They were rising against a tyrant and a butcher motivated by sectarianism. Refer to the various massacres and the petrifying violence the Syrian regime has long subjugated its opponents to since its inception.

Also the insinuation that Al-Qaeda is in anyway an offshoot of the MB is hilarious.

Islam wasn't that long ago brother. The Rashidun should have left at least a cave painting. Ask yourself this: how can a lesser known prophet Mani couple centuries before Muhammad has his seal still preserved but not a single artefact from Muhammad and his companions and first 4 caliphs are found?
