Hmmm maybe trying to come to a negotiation table with one of the worlds most well funded miltary powers by first killing 1000+ of their citizens (many of them innocent people) and taking hundreds of hostages on the way. They know the regime they’re up against has very little tolerance for their governance as it stood even before they attacked Israel . It was a very bad idea for Hamas to try and achieve more freedoms for Gaza by murdering and taking hostage the citizens of their oppressor at a point where their regime is perhaps at its most unwilling to do so and then being unprepared for the inevitable response when push comes to shove and they refuse to release hostages. Hamas has provided zero protection for the people of the Gaza Strip. They’ve built tunnels for themselves as protection but leave the civilians out to be blown up and in harms way. They take the food delivered with the intention of being freely given to refugees of the Gaza war and sell it for profit to support their regimes dying breaths. It’s idiocy, terrible strategy both in negotiations and militarily, and has brought so much negativity to Gaza and the Palestinian people.

Obviously I don’t know what Lupe’s views are but because he may disagree with you on support of Hamas for Palestinian resistance doesn’t make him a Zionist

I'll just say that some of you guys are making a mistake falling on the if I support Palestine then I have to support Hamas sword. That's a bad hill to die on. Every movement will have several different factions and we can debate their effectiveness but we don't have always be "pick sides" as if life is binary.

I think the truth is, this is mostly the United States fault. We should have forced a Palestinian State a long time ago but we kinda Israel off the hook and let "Zionist" propaganda stop us from it. No there isn't a secret society of Jews running the world. But as we have seen now we let the situation reach the point where Palestinian are seen as subhuman and Hamas kidnapping random civilians is seen as necessary.

The question of Palestine has now been forcibly and permanently placed back on the international agenda. Prior to Al Aqsa Flood, the Palestinians were forgotten and alone. The Zionist Entity was able to carry out its "slow" and steady process of genocide and colonization without the eyes of the majority of the world upon it. Now the situation has fundamentally changed and the Palestinian cause is in sharp focus. The illusion of colonial inevitability and invincibility has been shattered. It even goes beyond Palestine. The Palestinian people have made a great sacrifice for the sake of all the world's peoples by exposing the hypocrisy and illegitimacy of the entire Western imperialist order. There is no going back from here. And none of this would be possible without the Al Aqsa Flood Operation.

I haven't cared about Lupe's political views in a long time, but I'll say this...

He was one of the only rappers "All lives matter"ing (partially because of his affinity for cops - think one of his family members is one iirc), he has tweets from 2014 saying there shouldn't be retaliatory missiles firing from Gaza at Israel, he's into the whole genAI and NFT bullshit, he was dissing the Black Socialists of America account at one point, saying socialism was a utopian ideal (derogatory). This was before he name dropped socialism on Manilla.

Is it likely Lupe has IDF friends and is on some 2 state solution tip? Yes.

Is he a zionist cheering on the end of Palestinians? Definitely not.

Lupe is a weird one, politically. I remember him saying all great societal/political change comes from technological advancement. He's more of a Yang than -insert revolutionary-.
