he called me a "dweeb" in another thread.. not really concerned with the opinion of a 12 year old wannabe bully
Good, then stop indirectly subbing me on here because you’re upset I disagree with your delusional d***riding music opinions you dweeb. You’re incapable of a reasonable and objective opinion on anything Lupe with the avi you have.
On Fauz Nem...that first verse made me laugh until I actually thought about it
Goddamn, this is a solid piece of work. First album in a while that made me want to immediately listen to again because there's so much to it that a casual first listen will not do justice to.
how someone can call this album mid is baffling to me

Mural: The Art
Ms Mural: The Artist
Mural Jr: The legacy of the artist/art
"Diptych, so now them paintings plural, but this is Jr's Mural"
Thanks man
top 3 oty
Honestly never heard of him either until today. I was like wtf does a shoe string have to do with freight trains? Lupe stay having these obscure references lol.
Underwhelming first listen. Lupe should've BEEN tapped in with the top-tier acts of the Underground (producers, rappers, etc.)
Lupe needs to lock in with a single producer for an entire album. I always feel like sonically all of lupes recent projects have felt incohesive. Like a Lupe album produced by No ID would go nuts
Yall really be saying anything or you didn’t even listen to it. There is nothing incohesive about this album sonically.
It pretty clearly sounds like the same person produced the entire album, maybe even to a fault.
3/7 not enough drill
I do genuinely think Lupe should had done atleast on Drill inspired song on here.
Did I gear Jazzy is a bonus track coming?
After listening to this a second time, I think it’s cool. Not RAOTY like some of y’all were saying but it’s not like bad or anything. Lupe is a f***ing wordsmith and his pen is as mighty as it’s always been. But musically, it’s not something I really have the desire to go back and relisten to.

Right
It’s ight
Album title misleading as hell, I’m thinking he would at least take it there on a few drill beats
There is a Zion feel/vibe on the album more so than American drill
It’s ight.. of course lyrically it’s on point but I was expecting something totally different
I also ran it back twice

The drill is from Zion in the matrix
Was never supposed to be a drill album
A 40 year old making a drill album would’ve been corny
This exactly what this should’ve been. Cover the damage that violence has on the community as well as layering it with other themes (religion, climate change, etc)

I guess
It’s not a bad album at all just wasn’t what I expected

It does have some emotional tinges to it. Worthy closer
