How is he better in every way?
Better rapper
Better discog (F&L, The Cool, T&Y, Drogas Wave, DMIZ, Samurai clears Kendrick with ease and I haven’t even talked about his Fahrenheit projects or Friend of the People)
Better hits ( maybe not by charting measures but superstar, show goes on, daydreaming, I gotcha, the instrumental, hip hop saved my life, the show goes on are a better mix of fun and quality than Kendrick’s hits)
The only thing you can argue Kendrick has over Lupe is influence and popularity. But Kendrick will never in his life reach lyricism at the level of Failure or Dumb it down. His storytelling is his strongest aspect especially from an album standpoint but Lupe is exceptional at storytelling from a track by track perspective. Prisoner 1 & 2 or Hip hop saved my life or The Coolest convey so much information and clarity in storytelling that often takes Kendrick entire albums to convey in equal measure
