SlimaneI tried that, but apparently me asking for tangible evidence is dumb.
The subject of sexual assaults is a grey area, no one records a sexual encounter to say, a police officer engaging with a civilian. By asking for proof, you are indirectly invalidating/downplaying one's experience, it has emotional effects that can be extremely traumatizing. It's a cold response to a sensitive experience.

I get that it's rly hard to talk about these things but if you want to make a positive change u have to. The idea that we should assume the victim isn't lying and that they shouldn't have to tell their story cus it's traumatic doesn't work

I agree to some extent. There is a percentage of people who do fabricate things like this because it didn't end up the way they wanted to, but...for those that aren't, they should get the help they need to speak out.
