Is it better than ….. bones and all?
Is it better than ….. bones and all?
great question. bones and all is an all time top favorite for me
if i could only have one exist it would be bones but this very well may end up being my most rewatched film of luca's

Yorgos coded and I loved every second of it
this was solid, not amazing but I enjoyed it fr. score was great, totally different vibe from the Challengers score but just as affecting. loved the cinematography and the set design. I like that the sets looked like sets and Mexico City almost looked like a fake dream land or a limbo space because I think that's how the main character Lee, kind of saw this place. A limbo space where time doesn't matter and he doesn't have to move forward or backwards.
i’m confused
I wanna hear elaborations when u got em! Need your thoughts
side note is this just never happening? I’ve been putting off rewatching just to see this cut

Lowkey this was sad as f\*\*\* when i really think about it lol being queer can be so isolating and i feel like this film really captured that. Immediately after I was kinda confused at what I’d watched but this film has the same effect I Saw The TV Glow had on me just more immediate. ISTTG didn’t really click until days later when i kept thinking about the ending and talked to some users on here about it
also this soundtrack was bomb. interesting to use songs from all eras instead of the time of the movie. the Nirvana needle drop took me out at first but i appreciate it in retrospect

I need to rewatch I Saw The TV Glow because I was not moved whatsoever. This was heat tho
I know thats an adult but the age gap is still weird to me idk
Daniel Craig looks older than usual, a whole grandpa. it's jarring

that ending didn’t hurt you a little?? very much that arcade was a quick summer job until it was 10 years later and that was his life. very much it was too late for him to realize he was on the wrong path. I feel like i related to that in a sense even tho i know it was a trans allegory
