    game looks very uninspired

but the gameplay looks pretty good
i kept getting this and hell is us confused played the demo to that game a couple days ago and that is some janky trash

From the moment I saw this game I could definitely tell that it was developed by <5 people. It gives me mobile game vibes for some reason

Been playing the demo a bit today and I actually like this, and I was sceptical. I think till probably average around the low/mid 70s though

This looks like s***. I remember seeing a trailer for this in 2015 or something and thinking it looked cool as a proof of concept but its 2025 now and it doesn't look like it progressed much from that proof of concept stage. It's crazy to me that the sound design when your hitting enemies still sounds like that

Same here. I never trust one of those tag lines that say "from a solo dev" or something along those lines, particularly when the game isn't a pixel art indie game lol. I didn't think this game was real since the initial reveal. Felt the same way with Wukong, but I was very wrong about that one

So some performance issues with this huh?

After the long development hell with this and whatnot, wouldn't feel right without one more challenge for the devs I suppose

After a good hour with the game and gettng so far can gve some thoughts I have

The game is fun at it's core

It is a bit "lifeless" and has a real "concept" vibe to it, it just has that "empty" feel but I can excuse most of this because the studio is so small on 40 people.

The camera and lock on remind of the game The Bouncer from ps2 (Not a bad thing but a bit outdated)

The story is OK, nothing to really cling on to and keep me engaged but some of the voice acting is cool.

Now the combat is cool but it's a bit dry, the blocking and dodging don't take much skill, this is a true hack and slash game

Overall I would say it like a cheap combo of DMC, FF, and Stellar Blade.

The puzzles in this s*** is also so, simple, it's like why even include the s***?

Overall I do like the game, it's cool especially coming from indie devs I can tell they did put work in here but were most likely limited.

I do like the concept of the game and the concept of the story it just needs to be a bit more polished and I think this can go from a 6.5/10 to probably 8.

I also didn't peep any marketing for this game or any reviews at all pop up, kinda strange but didn't get a bad press run like Minds Eye.

I definitely have this on my list
