I been told I'm not Mexican enough because i'm a lighter skin and had not been to Mexico ( until 2016) . I been going the past 4 years.

So I can get to know more of my Mexican side. I love eating the food, and I can speak/ understand Spanish. I know it's not as good as it use to be when I was younger, but i can hold a conversation.

The saddest thing is your own people be hating. You want the world to be a little different.... start being nicer to your own.

Yeah people try to exclude as if someone is a complete foreigner when they visit and then back at home in the states you’ll see it too, regions where our people don’t make up a large part of the population. It can leave an impression sometimes but we should make ourselves at home anywhere we go and not care
