that has to be one of the worst trades in NBA history. For sure the worst in this franchise history. I know Caruso and Dennis weren't in the trade but Lakers went cheap with guards after picking up Russ.

Probably the worst in Franchise history. Not only was his fit questionable from the start, his contract handicapped us from trading him or signing anyone else

my top 8 options for the mid level (8 for Kobes number)

1. Mo Bamba C - this would be my top target. A young stretch 5 who can board and switch on defense. we had Melo, Lebron, Stanley playing center last year. lol

2. Otto Porter F - big wings who can play 3 and D win titles. Porter would slide right into starting lineup

3. Jalen Smith C - another young stretch 5. He started to play well last year. coming on to his own, and would be a good investment

4. Bruce Brown F- a solid defender who is a 3 and D swingman. He can come in and guard the others teams best wing.

5. Mitchell Robinson C- sucks on offense, but is an elite shot blocker, and overall good on defense. Could play a Robert Williams role. people forget our defense was really good in our 2020 title team. Defense has sucked since then

6. Dennis Schroeder G- if he check his ego, and accepted a 6th man role. He would be lights out as a scorer off the bench who can play either guard spot. He's also a good defender

7. Serge Ibaka/Lamarcus Alridge C- both other vets and would be upgrades at center. Ibaka stock is down, but can be a good starter if he is healthy. Alridge might struggle on defense a little bit, but he would be a solid stretch 5, and is a big body.

8. Victor Oladipo G- a wild card in free agency. He flashed his old self at times in the playoffs. could use that talent

we need at least one absolute bargain signing for the vet minimum if we have any chance of building a competent team this summer
