We need to get two rotation players tonight. someone with the 35th pick, and someone like Austin Reeves undrafted.

I say the biggest need is a center. Frank kept playing Lebron, Stanley, and Melo at center. We need like 2 centers. AD needs to play 4 to preserve him.

PF- Hopefully AD stays healthy. Gabriel is promising and a nice find

SF- Lebron- will see most the time but another big forward would be nice. a kuzma replacement/ LeBron is old and we could expect him to miss time

SG- hopefully we keep monk. bit of a log jam with Monk, Reeves, THT. Stanley also athletic enough to guard 2s

PG- stuck with Russ for one more year.. he prolly gone after the year. Nunn on a one year deal. could go here

Pelinka said Christie made himself stand apart at the Chicago combine with his maturity and thoughtfulness in his interview with the Lakers. They project him as a starting-level talent at some point.

other notes:

• I still really hope we can bring back Monk. I think he could be lights out with a healthy AD and Lebron. Monk is capable of getting hot and hitting 8-10 3s. he might demand alot, and sucks on defense. I think he would thrive as a 6th man on a contender. I think he is looking at 15m contract.

• I expect Reaves to be the starting SG and not look back. He showed he can hoop as a rookie. man passed THT in my eyes

-I would look to trade THT this week. dump that salary and give it to Monk. He's still only 21 so he might break out this year. He still below average on defense, can only go left, can't shoot, not really a playmaker. I don't see the fit on this team. He's more of a high volume scorer on a bad tanking team. would be nice to dump him, might hold on for one more season

• Stanley, Gabriel were nice finds and I expect them back. both need to be in the gym working on their jumpers. They showed enough on defense, and added athletic ability our team needed.

• Melo, Dwight, Augustine- could be invited back, but not promised rotation spots. they would serve as end of roster vets unless they really ball out in training camp

-Bazemore, Ellington, Ariza- all cooked. time to move on. Christie is a younger, more athletic Ellington. Ceiling to be better. Ariza done. Bazemore had a shot and didn't do anything. Bradley could be brought back as a last resort. There should be better options. He's old, offers nothing on offense, not athletic, average on defense, and a midget. Need more youth, size, and athletes

• don't forget Mason Jones and Mac McClung are on the roster. they will have a chance during summer league, and training camp they are NBA level players. they were great in the gleague. can they make the jump

• Scotty Pippen JR, Shaq son, and Cole Swider. Swider can really shoot and has good size. let's see if he can be atleast an average defender.
