Alright Schröder is back so that eases some of the bleeding...like we said he would...because he's our 3rd best player...and we can't have our 2nd and 3rd best players out for extended periods of time, especially when both play both ends of the floor...

Now to more pressing matters, filling out the rest of the roster. Ironically one good thing to come out of Dennis' absence was Frank figured out how to stagger him and LeBron now. As for the rest of the team, folk wanna focus everything Matthews but we all see it but it's NEVER been brought up: Markieff has been an absolute brick all season, and if his shot isn't falling he is of no use to me. Need another bigger wing, takes care of Keef and everyone still needing Wes Matthews to get posts off

Onto Marc Gasol, I truly believe he hasn't been bad for us off fit alone. We know how bad our offense is even when everyone is healthy, but when AD and Dennis were gone we saw how it looked. Gasol at least pulls a big out the paint, if it were someone like a Dwight (or Javale for all the glue eaters out there who still think he had any value) what do you think would happen with a big camped out in the lane? Plus I think it'd serve us best to run our offense through Marc like we were at the beginning of the season. So yes, while I do still think Marc has been valuable, we can use another big and Rob knows that seeing as he gave Damian Jones a 10-day.

Brings me to the trade deadline/buyout market. I circled back around to the Mo Bamba and Denzel Valentine "rumors" but it seems those were mainly secondhand "sourcing" (however I would take Bamba in a heartbeat and let Handy develop him).

We already know Cousins isn't coming back, nor should he. I'm not going to get into a long-winded discussion on Boogie, the numbers and the film are too easy to find to be debating me.

I understand the move for Jones tho. Gasol should have been signed to be a backup and for certain matchups. The league is just so fast these days. I get he spaces the floor. But lack of scoring and board always leaves this team at an disadvantage

Yeah floor spacing and the interior defense is a plus but he's just too slow. Can use a big with size and athleticism to give us a little of what we're lacking from both Gasol and Harrell
