To be around a man with a heralded work ethic of that magnitude for over 2 decades and be there every step of the way both on a personal and professional level, it's hard not to take notes from it if not be wired the exact same way yourself.
Hell, if he were a bum who didn't know what he was doing there's no doubt in my mind that he and Kobe would not get along, let alone be best friends for over 20 years.

the man is sly, intelligent, dedicated, works his ass off (idk if other GMs were helping alongside practices in the bubble but he did), and extremely well spoken. he’s the best
