They tried to slight this man after an 8/24 Game 1 performance against Portland

    https://twitter.com/WillGuillory/status/1307163804850159617

Man is averaging an efficient 30/12 in his postseason career and people were saying he doesn't show up, I gotta laugh

Lakers could not make up their mind on the Denver PNR most of the game. So much miscommunication on whether to switch or not. Some moments where guys had chances to avoid switching, but didnโ€™t fight it at all lol.

Some of it was cleaned up in the 2nd half tho, which is terrifying for the Nuggets because the Lakers may look even more dominant in the coming games with a few adjustments.

Loving that Vogel has been flexible with his line-ups, rotations, and defensive schemes all through the playoffs.

Trapping Lillard off screens in Rnd1

Double teaming Harden and benching the centers

Starting Howard in the 2nd half today

I was very happy to see him start Dwight the second half and not go with the usual Javale rollout

Hate thinking about the future at a time like this but excited about the prospect of having a center rotation of Boogie, Dwight & Cacok

Give this man his flowers. We won the trade. We had always won the trade, even as soon as the Woj notification broke. And now he's showing EVERYONE why.

Man I can't tell you the amount of Pelicans fans and even some other Lakers fans I've seen question the trade when it went down. I'm not even talking media members who are notorious for putting spins on things, but fans in this fan base saying "oh we gave up too much", "well he better get us a ring!"

Like man, I don't think y'all have truly watched this man play the game of basketball if you're questioning why we gave up what we did.

And ofc if we could've kept some of the pieces we would have, but none of them are deal-breakers when it comes to AD.

Reggie Miller was calling Jokic "the best offensive big man in the NBA" during every single game against the Jazz and Clippers

Man was he quiet about that last night

Still love to watch Jokic play and he's a great player in his own right. That being said, the Jazz had Gobert who could match up with him, no one else. The Clippers had (to a far lesser extent) Zubac, and then when Trezz came in that was an easy mismatch. There's nothing free and easy when it's Dwight Howard and Anthony Davis. Maybe he can catch a break in a few Javale McGee minutes, but that's it.
