Yes, it would've been ideal for him not to get the max, but it is what it is. He's improved every season and I think we're going to see another jump from him next season. Yeah, he's underperformed in the playoffs, but he's also been injured the past two runs. Averaged 31 the last 3 games against an elite OKC defense once he got his legs under him. I think he'll end up justifying the max.
