We will never get Caruso back through trade
https://twitter.com/WITNESSKJ/status/1792967290629009668Shoulda never let him go
There is no rush but we have no coach and the draft is in a month lol. They better figure it out sooner than later
Here for Bickerstaff being an assistant with a focus on defense

Cavs might scoop up Terry Stots
“The Spurs and the Lakers keep coming up as potential suitors for the Warriors' Chris Paul if Paul becomes a free agent this offseason. Paul's longstanding friendship with LeBron James and his well-known desire to stay as close to his L.A.-based family as possible certainly add credence to the notion of the Lakers' signing him.”

https://twitter.com/TheDunkCentral/status/1793670311566602466I wouldn't mind if we resigned Dinwiddie, traded Gabe, and signed CP3.
Chris Paul on a vet minimum, can't hurt right
Feel like he’d be decent as long as we didn’t rely on him too much

Take him off of the bench just like the Warriors.

Gabe > Dinshittie
Gabe > Dinshittie
Dinwiddie is more versatile because of his size though so I'd prioritize that. We also saw him ball out when he started. Gabe didn't ball out in a single game the whole year lol

Gabe is the perimeter defender we desperately need and I still would depend on him more for jumpers than Spencer atp in their careers
This year was a wash to me at one point because the injuries were had to our wings really limited their growth and contribution

Dinwiddie is also a very solid perimeter defender, don't think we'd lose out on much. gabe is the better 3 pt shooter, but thats where cp3 would offset dinwiddie's lack of shooting

Dinshittie not an off ball player though. Even in Brooklyn, at their best him and D'Lo were basically platoon swapped. I think Gabe's defense is a lot better than Spencer's. I just look at Spencer in that Westbrook light, I feel he over the hill after all them injuries
I'd love a CP3 addition in any scenario though
Clips waiting for Lakers to hire their new coach to fire Lue while Lakers are waiting for Clips to fire Lue to hire as their new coach

No joke accounts in here fam.

"The future of D'Angelo Russell will play a central role in how active the Lakers will be in trade talks this offseason.
In this scenario, Russell opts-in to his $18.7 million contract or even takes less in his next contract, the Lakers are a possible first-apron team and are not allowed to take back more money in a trade.
That would mean a hypothetical Reaves-Hachimura and three first-round picks for Mitchell trade does not work.
A Russell sign-and-trade to Cleveland and Reaves, for example, also does not work because it would put the Lakers over the second apron.
Teams over the second apron are not allowed to aggregate contracts sent out in a trade.
If Russell does not return or they find a third team to take back his contract if he opts-in, the Lakers would be allowed to aggregate contracts sent out. The Lakers would then be allowed to trade Reaves, Hachimura and three first-round picks (2024, 2029 and 2031) for Mitchell."
