There were indeed conversations between New Orleans and Atlanta this week, sources said, but I've been told any deal that would bring Dejounte Murray to the Pelicans isn't particularly close to a finish line.

Before trade deadline concludes, what are you guys hoping for to happen?
Dejounte Murray and a wing
But that's likely not gonna happen based on reports
Realistically, it look likes we might send out a couple of seconds for a role player, which is fine.
I'm also fine if we do nothing and get a center or backup pg in the buyout market. It'll be very risky to keep DLO but it is what it is.
Adrian Wojnarowski's latest Bulls intel from Woj Pod this AM:
"DeMar DeRozan is a player the 76ers have talked about. Maybe not so much today, but in previous days.
I think it's harder for Chicago to do some of these deals with contending teams because they want players back.
They're not looking to get draft assets and expirings. They want to reboot this on the fly. They want to stay competitive."
The Pacers are trading Buddy Hield to the 76ers for Marcus Morris, Furkan Korkmaz and three second-round picks,
per Woj
^^^
Who remembers when we were suppose to get Buddy ?
The Lakers are actively exploring trade market opportunities involving Gabe Vincent and Christian Wood,
per Brett Siegel
second round picks are FLYING around for quality bench pieces and we aren’t doing anything lol. I understand not wanting to send the 1st out prematurely but we have 4 seconds at our disposal, makes no sense to hold onto them especially if Vando is out for the season
We should be all over Killian Hayes. He’s exactly the type of player we should take a shot on. Has he sucked yea? But he’s young, he just needs a change of teams. Being on a talented team could make the game easier for him. He’s a big PG and we love big PG
