Christian Wood said his first Lakers practice was “great,” noting how competitive it was. He said he went up against Anthony Davis for most of the practice today, though he expects some alignments with them playing together will come.

Sounds like Hayes was the one playing with Davis

The starters are all wearing purple jerseys (Davis, Reaves) with the bench players wearing white (Vincent, Wood, Prince, etc.). Jarred Vanderbilt is wearing purple; Rui Hachimura is wearing white. That suggests Vando got run with the starters (at least in the final scrimmage).

D’Angelo Russell said Jalen Hood-Schifino was a player who stood out on Day 1.

Darvin Ham said LeBron looks fully healthy, after an offseason rehabilitating from the foot injury he suffered last February. Ham noted the athletic burst he’s seen in practice the first two days of camp looks more similar to LeBron prior to the injury.

Taurean Prince got a look with the Lakers’ starters in Day 2 of training camp Wednesday, joining a lineup with LeBron, AD, Reaves and D-Angelo Russell.

If it's between Hayes or Wood starting, I would pick Hayes though unless Wood magically becomes a good defender

True. Having someone to be a menace around the rim and be a beast on the boards is huge. AD can do it, but don’t want him tired on offense. I think Woods would be nice as a featured bench scoring. Occasionally get minutes as a stretch 5 with the starters too
