Hayes cannot be the backup, needs to be the third stringer. We absolutely need another center behind/next to AD. praying Plumlee takes a pay cut for a chance at a title.

Thomas Bryant and Lockdale were the centers that were better than Hayes but they both signed to other teams for more money.

The market for centers this free agency is not good sadly.

The guys that are still available that I think the Lakers are considering right now is Bismark Biyombo, Mo Bamba, Tristan Thompson.
