daddy's home is the best of the 3, thats one of the top albums of 2021 for me

still a little bugged out at fans taking issue with Lorde and other artists detailing the trappings of fame and their desire to distance themselves from the troubles they find in their environment. like...isn't that the type of insight and introspection we should want from our artists lol

the idea that this is an out of touch album is so dumb... if anything this is her being direct with her fans by showing them her perspective on herself and growth in life and her career

i usually encourage explanation of why/what someone doesn't like about the music they listen to

but man sometimes people should really just leave it at "it doesn't sound good"

I like all three. I would’ve expected Daddy’s Home to be my least fav but ended up being the best imo

i'm not really one that "takes issue" with it especially on this album, but i just don't care for lyrics about the pitfalls of being rich and famous in general. i can't blame people for not being able to relate to that topic whatsoever

but that's where i'm lost at. because i can appreciate songwriting that I don't and can't personally relate to. I actually have to make that compromise more often than not I'd think.
