@provider I might've came around, I don't hate this as much as I thought I would've
It's a chill/vibey album, will be nice to throw this on to relax to. I might catch some flack for this but it reminds me of Blonde in some ways? In terms of subject matter and instrumentation. Although I'm not putting this on the level of Blonde
As of right now though, I place it under Melodrama and Pure Heroine
I've had so much time (and countless listens) to her first two so naturally this isn't touching them off initial listens. But it is so so great to me and I immediately appreciate it for what it is. She made the album that reflects her life and that's something I value in an artist.
instant skip
I have been nice in this thread thus far but you out yo rabid ass mind.
It's an instant classic and atop her discography, an imcomparable vibe

imagine reviewing an album that hasnt even been out for a day
a lot of reviewers get copies ahead of time lol
came out on the same day as blonde for a reason maybe
oh s*** you're right
Does Lorde know that she can ask somebody to post about the album release for her millions of followers? (But I like that she isn't forced to give the keys, metaphorically speaking.)
Can't picture how some of these songs are gonna do in a live setting aside from the upbeat ones ofc
we'll have to see
surprised I'm not seeing more love for California, that's a bop
That's the only one I like lol
surprised I'm not seeing more love for California, that's a bop
it's because it's on the first half of the album and i'm completely stuck on the second half lol but i like that one a lot, just got done listening to it actually
I've got hundreds of gowns, I've got paintings in frames
And a throat that fills with panic every festival day
Dutifully fallin' apart for the Princess of Norway
i don't see how fans can hate on lines like these because they're "pretentious" and "unrelatable." duh. she's a multi-millionaire recording artist. sorry she's not the same teenage heartbroken mess 4 years later.

She's made tremendous strides with her writing. Just turns out a lot of her fans pretended all along to care about her lyrics

that's really what it is lmaooo they just wanted bops and more big words like pseudoephedrine to brag about
i found the version of dominoes that has Jack additional vocals in it, i'm glad it didn't make the official version lol they weren't necessary at all
