The streets aint fw this. They all asleep after putting this on. cmon bruh
Sleeping in the summer sun and recycling
damn this really a dud y’all?
Its just a very subdued and slow album. An extremely different album from her first 2
It's pretty uneventful overall but I don't think its bad. But I also don't think I can hold it up to PH or Melodrama
Pretty much the only track I love is Mood Ring. Everything else is chill background music I guess
The Path and Mood Ring are the only tracks I really like.

yup
I don't about nails on a chalkboard but I am not impressed with a lot of her vocal deliveries on this tape.
Incredibly breathy and delivered in an annoying manner. No edge at all. I get that what shes going for, but its boring as s***.
Specifically on the track Solar Power, I hate that song because of how she delivers her vocals on that track. "My boy behind me he's taking pictures" makes me f***ing cringe.
Dont even get me started on the instrumentals (or lack thereof) on this tape. As a homie earlier said, cmon Jack throw us a bassline or something dude.
Damn shame coming from Melodrama, a pop masterpiece IMO.
See ya'll in 5 years. Sadge.
She definitely fits better over electronic production, her voice isn't captivating enough for this acoustic style
Also I listened this morning out of order unknowingly and thought big star was the intro. It worked tbh
idk if i've just been listening to a lot of folklore/evermore but Secrets sounds like Taylor to me
and I love it
maybe my fav song so far
I just don’t get why artists like Lorde that are so good at picking unconventional production that progresses in weird directions as songs develop pick to do albums like this that throws all that out the window
That’s something I appreciate about Kanye. Sure he throws the quality of almost everything else out the window sometimes but he’s very aware of that ability he has and he never ever lets that slip
This still feels weird thinking this is the same artist that made Melodrama
And that's not even really in a negative way
Only songs that really hit for me the first time outside of the singles were Dominoes which came and went and Oceanic Feeling which went on way too long. The sonic textures of the album are so close to something really interesting and just never quite flourish. The lyrics meander and aside from Stoned at the Nail Salon (which literally sounds like a f***ing Lana track from Chemtrails that I can’t put my finger on) don’t have any of the classic Lorde “click” moments.
I wanted to believe so badly that all of the negativity around the early reviews was overblown, but god damn it this just completely let me down on first listen.
this her TPAB
But this is good
She definitely fits better over electronic production, her voice isn't captivating enough for this acoustic style
her voice is really captivating even over minimal production imo
But over darker production like this

And the falsetto she’s doing here just doesn’t work for a whole album by any stretch
I couldn't even write up a paragraph about this album it's so uneventful.
I've clicked on snap stories and hardly realize that I'm pausing the music
If you told me a few years ago that Lorde and Robyn would make a song together and it’d be mid somehow, I’d laugh in your face. But here we are
I will shoot you you my man dont do this
You wouldn’t dare

Hope the sun shows you the path fr 🙏 🌞
