    I do not think Flat Earth is a genuine belief btw.
    More so, it's a sympton of the distrust towards a current society where scientific knowledge can and is often manipulated and/or distorted in favor of political movements, big corporation lobbying, etc etc.
    To some people, it feels like the only thing they can do is to reject it altogether.
